Just hearing on the old gossip wire that adlink (sedo’s parent company) is being touted for sale at a whopping $300m.
Not got anymore info about it than that for now but, as soon as i get this confirmed or denied, you guys will be the 1st to know. A pretty solid source told me this news, so make from that what you will.
Will fill you in on my Dublin trip (including being in the same hotel as the Welsh Rugby Team) later… Hmm…
I guess that would put my estimate of Sedo’s value at $350 million a little high

Sedo is not for sale.
One single German Newspaper (FAZ) spread the rumour that United Internet (the parent company of Sedo which also owns 1and1 and Fasthosts etc) wants to sell one part of Adlink to raise money to acquire Freenet and Strato. That’s it. It’s only a rumour and it would only concern the display business of Adlink.
And then you have bloggers with “solid” sources who spread that rumour
