But tells them to kill the syndicated partner deals.
As reported previously, I’m being told that Google have renewed ASK.com’s incredible deal to sub sell their advertisers feed on their own search platform, provided ASK cease re-re-selling it to 3rd party providers – including to ASK’s parking partners.
Im told the ability for ASK to sub sell Google’s feed to its partners ends this month. However, Ive checked the forums and cant find a word about it.. :/
Incredibly, the Google feed ASK was sub selling was Google’s much higher paying “adsense for search” feed and not the “adsense for domains” feed that the main parking providers, such as domain sponsor and sedo, use.
If only Id known previously, smartpricing has become the bane of my life.
The biggest provider I know of that uses an ASK feed is Parked.com – although Im told as only a backup to their main feed.
Perhaps you good folk out there could fill in the gaps for me.. Other parking companies affected, other content partners affected.. etc etc.. Appreciate it.

Ive not heard anything about this Julia, from memory Skenzo is an ASK provider though there’s nothing on their site about this. Time will tell i guess.
yes that is correct. Not sure when the new contract will go into effect. However it is well known around private circles that Companies like skenzo and others will be losing their ASK feed. Skenzo has already negotiated a direct feed with Google and its fair to assume its not as good as their ASK deal was. This is just one more example of Google once again putting a squeeze on the domain industry. Do you people still think Google is our friend ?

Been reading your blog for a while Julia, seems you are the fortune teller. Either that or you have some pretty hot inside knowledge. The buzz around the Ask feed withdrawal seems to be gathering momentum.
I am posting this here since Skenzo’s name has been mentioned above. Kindly note that Skenzo’s Customers are NOT impacted AT ALL.
SkenzoRep,
I think it would be better to ask whether Skenzo Customers were affected or not. I do not know a single Skenzo customer who did not see at least 30% drop in their revenue.
